Customer reduces CO2 emissions by 25,000 tons per year in a single facility with Harris Pye solution

Two Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSGs) installed in an Oil Refinery in the United Arab Emirates

Harris Pye worked with the customer to custom design, build, install and commission 2 additional Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG’s) for a large oil refinery in the UAE. While HRSG’s were part of the original plant, these additional two provided further fuel savings of 1 Million Cubic Feet Per Day of gas, resulting in a project payout of less than 3 years. If Carbon offset prices are taken into account at 40 Euros per ton of CO2, (well below current European market), payout is reduced to 1.5 years.
