The Harris Pye Group carries out major project and repair work in the offshore, marine & land base sectors covering: project management, CDM, material supply, fabrication, repair, and installation, commissioning and associated services required in the engineering fields Harris Pye is involved in.

Harris Pye is committed to the requirements of and continual improvement to our quality, health & safety and environmental systems and to comply with the requirements of API Q1, API 6A, BS EN ISO 9001, BS EN ISO 14001 & BS OHSAS 18001 where relevant.

Our intent is to provide the highest standard of design, service and quality for all products manufactured, supplied and installed to our customer’s requirements. In doing this we recognise the need to balance our business aims whilst providing adequate resources, control of the health & safety risks arising from our work activities and the effect our activities may have on the environment.

Harris Pye takes into account and complies with all applicable legislation and the requirements of interested parties to which the organisation subscribes. Our systems, which are built through consultation and participation at all levels, provide a framework for the setting and reviewing of quality, environmental & health & safety objectives and for policy reviews with the aim of continual improvement.

We are committed through strong leadership to the prevention of injury and ill heath to our employees and others by risk analysis and mitigation built into business processes, and displaying best working practice, preventing pollution and the impact of our business on our neighbours.

Company Profile

Harris Pye, a Joulon company, is a rapidly expanding global player with active involvement in many key marine and industrial sectors. Operating worldwide on a 24/7 basis, our emphasis is on cost effective repair, preventative maintenance and conversion work.

Our staff has grown from 10 in 1976 to over a thousand employees in our United Kingdom head office facility and main stations in Sharjah and Singapore, the latter two being ASME ‘S’, ‘U’ and ‘R’ accredited.  We also have offices and repair facilities in Australia, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Brazil, China, Japan, Malaysia, Portugal,  Scandinavia and Saudi Arabia  who are also ASME ‘S’, ‘U’ and ‘R’ accredited.

Harris Pye has established procedures, work instructions and associated documentation for a Management System designed to meet the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001, API, ISO 14001 & BS OHSAS 18001.  The system is designed to provide and demonstrate conformity to specified requirements, which includes evidence that all activities are completed correctly.

The Group has an enviable reputation as one of the world’s leading specialists in repair of marine and industrial boilers, including all associated steam systems. A constant stock of over 400 tons of premium quality steel and alloy tubes ensures rapid reaction to clients’ repair requirements. Our Group has recently undergone substantial planned growth, and expanded by means of internal expansion and acquisition, into areas complimentary to our core business.

The Group has also successfully developed its service to the offshore oil industry to include in situ repair, upgrade and conversion of rigs, semi-submersibles, trading tankers, FSU, FSO, FPSO and FSRU units as well as managing turnkey projects in the offshore, marine & land-based sectors, the company’s involvement in the survey, design, planning, drafting and commissioning of manufacture of skids and piping systems, boiler and pressure vessels, structural steel, protective coating, mechanical systems, electrical and instrumentation systems, accommodation outfitting and HVAC, metallurgy services is constantly increasing.

Since the company’s interest and reputation in the energy and power industries became enhanced. It strives to meet and progress further, facilitating its ability for carrying out major repair, fabrication and engineering work in the offshore, marine & land-based sectors. The company is now established in its work scope increasing its expertise in management and coordination of major turnkey projects.
