Job Description

The group is actively seeking to recruit the following personnel:

Group IMS Manager – South Wales, United Kingdom

Role Purpose

  • Coordinate Technical and Operational activities within the Group’s Quality departments
  • Liaise with the Board of Directors in relation to Group IMS, Key Performance Indicators, Management Reviews and other Quality related reporting via monthly reporting
  • Control of engineering support throughout the Group Quality Department
  • Overseeing the development, maintenance and operation of the Group Integrated Management System
  • Carry out internal and second party audits and liaise with departments as and when necessary
  • Review of collated Quality dossiers
  • Management of project resources (Quality personnel)
  • Manage the cost of Quality across the group
  • Expedite Quality issues
  • Overseeing group audits
  • Undertake additional duties as and when requested

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide technical support for the Group Quality Department
  • Management of technical sign offs and commissioning of HP manufactured/installed products
  • Support with regards to technical training for the Group Quality department personnel
  • Providing alternative testing methods when required
  • Overseeing, monitoring of the operation of the Group’s Integrated Management System
  • Reviewing and monitoring of Quality management functions i.e. KPI’s, NC’s, MR’s and group audits
  • Conduct gap analysis on current and prospective quality/technical requirements
  • Monitor and report of quality related project costs
  • Efficiency management of current & prospective 3rd party organisations i.e. cost saving – testing, consumables
  • To identify system weaknesses and suggest new/efficient procedures to strengthen it
  • Coordinating and carrying out internal audits

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Relevant engineering qualification advantageous but not essential
  • Experience within an engineering environment preferred
  • QMS audit qualified
  • Excellent personnel management skills and ability to communicate at all levels, both internally and with clients is essential

This position is based in Llandow, South Wales, United Kingdom with global travel will required on a regular basis and at short notice when required.
