Over the past dozen years the Harris Pye Group has further developed its service to the offshore oil and gas industry offering in situ repair, upgrade and conversion of rigs, semisubmersibles, trading tankers, FSU, FSO and FPSO and FSRU units; and inspection and consulting services for the LNG industry.

These services are complementary to our marine engineering role.

Our approach to project managed in situ turnkey repairs offers very definite advantages to the offshore oil and gas sector. Our expertise now extends to encompass: automation and control engineering; electrical work; high and low voltage; construction steel works; high and low pressure pipework; all aspects of specialist welding, heat treatment, mechanical works including pumps, compressors etc; and accommodation outfitting.

In one year alone we completed over $60 million-worth of turnkey project work involving steel renewals, pipework and mechanical work – primarily for the offshore oil & gas industry.
