ENGINE OVERHAUL

Harris Pye is able to offer a full overhaul and reconditioning service for all types of engine via riding squads, or at our fully equipped workshops. We are able to offer fully trained and experienced repair technicians for: Burmeister and Wain, Sulzer, Fiat, MAN, Wartsila, Daihatsu, Cummins, MTU, Pielstick, Yanmar, Detriot, MAK, Mirlees, Lister Blackstone and Ruston.

IN SITU MACHINING

Using our own portable grinding equipment, we are able to offer an in situ reconditioning service on the following items:- Liner landing faces; entablature landing faces; and  valve pocket landing faces. We are also able to machine in situ all types of valves including inlet, exhaust, and starting air types.

PROPELLER SERVICE

We provide a 24 hour service with highly skilled and travelled service engineers who have vast experience working all over the world working on C.P Propellers and O/D box surveys and renewals. In conjunction with our associated company S.M.P of Sweden, Harris Pye carries out repairs to propellers and thrusters such as building up and machining of worn sections of the propeller hub e.g. seal landing areas, thrust faces, and bushings as well as palm fractures and fairing of blades.

OTHER MECHANICAL SERVICES

In addition our engine overhaul, in situ machining and propeller service, we also offer a full range of mechanical services including pump overhaul, generator refurbishment, and chemical cleaning.
