MANUFACTURE

The expanded activities of Harris Pye Stainless Steel has resulted in a significant investment in the re-equipment of the business with new automated machine tooling, including:

• 1.5Kw laser cutting machine with CNC control
• 125 tonne x 4.0 metre bed brake press with CNC control
• 50 tonne x 2.0 metre bed brake press with CNC control
• 19 station, auto index CNC punch press

As well as increased machinery capacity we have the facilities to build each galley installation completely on our premises in order that clients can view the installation before fitting. This ensures that the final fitting will be trouble-free.

Our additional sophisticated equipment has increased our versatility and manufacturing capability. It has also allowed us to produce products with a greater degree of accuracy, in less time and at a more competitive price.

It also allows us to undertake more diverse projects which are not associated with the food industry and to support the greater Harris Pye Group as a manufacturer of stainless steel fabrications.

Past and current projects have included swimming pool wave booms, outfitting of library reading rooms, pressure vessels and chemical cooling coils.

This is in addition to those products that have been associated with Harris Pye Stainless Steel for a number of years, such as galley construction, racking, tabling, bars, cold stations, barbecues, hog roasters etc.

With the Group’s extensive facilities available to us, we can offer steelwork, pipe fitting, plumbing, refrigeration, HVAC, fire detection and suppression systems, and control and instrumentation packages to our installations, thereby providing a turnkey solution under one management.
