A damaged or contaminated boiler is not only at risk of failing and being very uneconomical – it is also extremely dangerous.

Contaminated boilers – how we can save them
Whether the boiler is contaminated with oil, corrosion or any other chemical compositions; there are means to address the situation and expand the operating lifetime.
Depending on the situation, the contamination should be removed manually and also sometimes further eliminated by means of a tailor-made chemical cleaning method.
Once the full situation has been analysed and the most appropriate cleaning method ascertained and chosen, a bespoke chemical cleaning procedure is undertaken. Factors such as the boiler’s status and requirements are key in determining the best solution.
Method
A visual survey is undertaken prior to any chemical cleaning, and samples from several locations are analysed in order to determine the composition of the contamination, and thus the most appropriate chemical procedure.
